Nice TR. I liked the fact that they give you that bag of munchies, in addition to two meals, but was it enough for a 15 hours + flight?

and $7 for a vodka with sprite when the competition gives it away for free is completely ridiculous!

Nice TR. I wish I could post pictures like that. But this is the exact route I described in my last TR ( home coming to New Jersey 2011).

Vivek, it was a real pleasure going through a trip report from you, after a very long time. Of course, we know you are an excellent photographer, and share your goodies with us, we also miss your writing skills!
You had us miss a heart-beat with your flight-cancelled scare.
Are there power-ports in Economy (one for each pair of seats, under the cushion)? I agree, I sound a bit like `yeh kitna deti hai' Smile
Cheers, Sumantra.

These ULH flights get boring after a point, as there is nothing much to do. IFE helps, but only to some extent. How many movies can you watch at a stretch? With these thoughts running in my mind, I try to get some more sleep.
I wake up when we were flying over Norway. I must have slept for an hour and a half!

A welcome sight as opposed to the continuing streak of darkness that accompanies this flight!

Seven more hours to go before we land! And we’ve been airborne for eight hours! This is a flight that never seems to be ending.

Very very True and very aptly said!

I did few times YYZ- DEL non-stop on AC and I said to myself never again. I once almost grabbed a FA and told "Open the window, let me get some fresh air please" Very Happy Very Happy

Very well written TR Vivekman, bringing out the pros & cons of ULH flights. Nice Pics too.
Thanks for sharing!
