Although the A345 is hands-down my favorite commercial airliner (after the concorde) but mate there aint no beating the economy of the 772LR.
The A340's been touted as a gas-guzzler atleast by the bunch of people to whom i quoted a similar question.
So the answer to your
Question : Which one do you prefer?
Answer : The A345, I Love It & wouldnt mind paying the extra 3-4 thousand to fly it.
Q : Which one has the best economics for any airline?
A : Shri. 772LR Kumar |

My preference is the the 77L on both counts. The 77L is also faster than the 345, so that is a plus as well. _________________ http://openflights.org/user/akumanduri |

I've not flown the 77L yet (but have flown the 772/773 and 77W). I have flown the 345.
Personally I hate the 777 (and 747) seating of 3-3/4-3, the window seat is so far from the aisle! From that perspective I like the 345 where you can have a great view and quick aisle access as well! _________________ We miss you Nalini! |

Which brings me to my favorite widebody: the 767. with a 2-3-2 seating, you only have a 1/7 chance of sitting in the middle. And if you do sit in the middle, you can get out on either side, and the window is not that far from the aisle. _________________ http://openflights.org/user/akumanduri |

Well i havent flown either 77L or A345, but looks wise i would prefer the 345. I saw the Etihad 345 in sydney as well as the emirates 345. Both looked absolutely stunning! _________________ You will never Fly Alone! |

couldn't agree more. B777s are way too noisy for my liking. _________________ [url=http://openflights.org/user/aseemsjohri]
