I was wondering to what extent is GPS used in India's airspace system.
Whether its for enroute, approaches, etc.
And has WAAS/LAAS made it onto the scene yet? |

There were some news articles about how India has launched a satellite called "Gagan" which is India's own GPS system, and how we plan to move to a GPS based navigation "shortly". I don't know how much of this is real, but that was the intention. |
