This one is for all airplane buffs- Which plane do you prefer-the Busses or the Boeings ?
My personal choice- A320 for cabin comfort (ever so slightly)
Although B737-800 flies Mighty HIGH- often flown up to FL400 !!! |

A320 all the way.. i recently jumpseated... and you have to see the spectacular technology at work! Something even the american captain we had said is better than the 737.
We were at FL 380 from Jaipur to Mumbai.. i think the 320 can do FL 400 easily.

I am a A319/20/21 fan and to me B737 design has been beaten to death... _________________ [url=http://openflights.org/user/aseemsjohri]

Back in 90's it was slam dunk, Airbus.
But with the 737-6/7/8/900's operating (esp. in India) it's quite close decs.
Personally A320.
Also agree with Aseem. 737 design seems beaten to death. |

ER..I am not sure if the A320 series flies above 39000 feet. It can maybe, but not listed in the tech-specs.
But the A320 does have some unique features like NOT having to trim the plane-it is done automatically.
However, in terms of performance I heard that the 737-800 is slightly better..is it true that it is more of a "slippery aircraft" in terms of wing/lift and that the earlier generation -400 is slightly more "stable" ., while the -300 is relatively speaking, a "dog" to fly..these are collective musings from various sources.. any comments from the Technically-enlightened? |

I really doubt you could have done that, unless your 738 was flying a 45min trip and the A320 was flying a 4 to 5 hour trip!
Also, both have engines in similar thrust category (bet 25K-30K) |

I like the 737. but my all time favorite single aisle is the MD-80/90/B717, especially in the front as it is very quiet. _________________ http://openflights.org/user/akumanduri |

we were doing the longer sector. We were DXB-COK while the IC bus was DXB-BOM |
