The kid doesn't seem to be a half breed, but a total desi, or at least one who grew up here.
Because no one else says things like "snap tons of pics". That is pure desi speak and certainly not something anyone who grew up learning English in Canada or Britain or anywhere else would say.
I stopped reading after the first few lines (one can gauge the quality right away). _________________ four years free of jetya punti! |

I didn't bother reading. Just looked at the pics.
Some things I noticed.
1. DEL airport, at least the way it looks, is quite impressive.
2.For all the 9W bashing that goes on, their Y product, including the food, doesn't look too bad (apart from the the cling wrap and foil which are everywhere these days).
3. 9W's safety cards are in French??? Is this a Belgian legal requirement? If so, why not in Dutch/Flemish, which is also spoken in Belgium? _________________ I don't know which is the more pampered bunch : AI's widebodies (the aunties) or Jet's widebodies (the planes).

Interesting situation with the credit card - the obvious question for me is, whose card would they use if they could use one? It must cost an awful lot to refuel an A330 for the five hours to BRU plus reserve. He said back in the day they used to carry reserve cash! Is this true?
And yes, 9W's Y product seemed very impressive - Bombay Brasserie catering! I thought that was only LHR. |

Recently, there was an AF flight where in they made passengers pay, using their credit cards, this happened in Damascus, if memory serves me right. _________________ Causal Determinism : We are hardwired to need answers. Freighter and charter company pilots still do. I don't know about regular airline pilots. _________________ I don't know which is the more pampered bunch : AI's widebodies (the aunties) or Jet's widebodies (the planes).

Loads of pics. Good effort by mummy ji.
But "yawn" at those b*tc#y one liners throughout the report.
9W catering in Y looks fine. _________________ Aerosexual...! |

The catering looks better than anything else I've seen in Y lately.
DEL airport looks great, as does VNS.
9W's cabin looks very inviting.
The guy who wrote this report is a buffoon.
The End. |

I havnt really heard of carrying cash, although on certain sectors airlines may do it. Depending on the political/ground situation we used to be given a satellite phone when flying to a certain airport (in addition to our personal phones working + aircraft SATCOM) but it would still surprise me if crews were carrying around bundles of cash.
Most airlines will give the captain a company credit card (worst case scenario to organising food/hotel rooms whatever etc) ... + there's a fuel (credit) card on board for scenarios such as this. Airport doesnt accept it .... well then your bad day just got worse (I assume 9W would have known about it). _________________ eP007 |
