Hmmm... But were these clicked using the same camera-lens combination?
Coz sometimes some cameras and lenses will give you a sharper image as compared to others.
Of course, post processing is required in almost all cases. The image straight out of the camera is never upload quality.

The 1st one looks a tad soft.
Nevertheless shows the importance of post-processing!
