Although, to catch the birds I have to use digital zoom, thus losing out on quality. _________________ Nalini... The Princess of the Sky... You are a star which will continue to illuminate your own A.net-India forever... |

Yes these cameras are really good. Casio's were close contender with Nikon when I bought my SD630. Some of the Casio cameras carry Pentax or Canon , lenses. So I was willing to go for those, but then SD630 won eventually (Great LCD display at the back and better flash range then Nikon S6) |

Birendra i would highly recommend the Canon 70-200 F4L. Being an L lens, the quality is far better than all the others.

I would highly recommend the lens Canon 70-200 F2.8L , it is one of, if not the best of canon zoom lenses. A friend had me try it and it was amazing and I've used the F/4 and the 2.8 is much better.
Also Birendra, I think you must have confused the 75-300mm USM with the 70-300mm IS USM. The former costs 230CAD without USM and 250-300CAD with USM and the latter costs 800CAD. |

C-GHKR:
While i agree with you that the 2.8 is far far better than then F4, you really cant compare them because of the huge price difference. I think over here, the 2,8 is almost double if not tripe the price of the F4.
Birendra, when i bought my 70-200 F4L, i paid 30k for it. Now i hear its much cheaper, and cheaper still if you buy it in the States.
Its a great lens and i use it with the 1.4x tele extender.
you can check it out when we meet in the next few days.
