I have noticed a series of projections on the tail section of a B737NG, starting from the base of the vertical tail and radiating out on both sides towards the horizontal stabilizers.
It can be seen clearly in this picture:
Noticed it so far only on the NGs. Can anybody shed light on what these projections are? _________________ My Flickr photos

thanks for the interesting link for technically challanged like me....gives clear explanation.
Also the last line on that page also mentions Vortex Generator over radome
