Hey hey thanks
Great stuff! Choosing flights based on airlines/aircrafts is the way to go!
In DXB I've only parked at a remote bay once and i quite liked it. The ride was long but good view, then again it was day.
Fantastic pics from FRA.
Keep them coming .... _________________ eP007 |

Thanks for a lovely trip report! Bad luck on the 380 miss...but you got a wide selection of Airbii - it must have been really wonderful to be on the 345! The Wife and Junior have been on the 346 twice - and I really envy them. The food pictures were intended for a certain glutton on the forum, who certainly isn't complaining! Did you see the viewing gallery at FRA, nevertheless? Looking forward to the next parts!
Cheers, Sumantra. |

Superb TR KaB!
You're very lucky you got to fly the A345, very exotic plane! Food looks great, lots of quantity too, infact looking at the palak paneer im a tad hungry now!
FRA is heaven! No question about it, very few airports in the world can match up to the diversity of FRA.
Excellent pics too!
Cheers. _________________ Causal Determinism : We are hardwired to need answers. The Caveman who heard a rustle in the bushes and checked out to see what it was, lived longer than the guy, who assumed it was just a breeze.

Should be a good read!
But tell me, why did you pick EK? Over a non-stop as well as a plethora of one-stop options, including a seamless, delight-inducing experience through Brussels? _________________ four years free of jetya punti! |

Thanks Jason,
LH/LX/AF were the only ones offering competitive fares and much better timings, our very own Jet was 68K, and i had to return by FRA or CDG , could not do MUC [go figure... ]
Only Reason in picking EK was the Airbus 340-500, have been fascinated by its sheer elagance and had to log my flirst flight on it, Ojas will tell you how much i pakaoed him to get me 345 schedules
And since SQ is my favourite carrier last week i burnt of a large chunk of miles and did SQ 22 [ the longest flight in the world as they are gonna soon stop the flight] rotuing was BOM-SIN Y class, SIN-EWR [miles], VS JFK-LHR-BOM Y class, all y class tickets were purchased the SIN-EWR was redemption as i could not afford the fare

Ouch. I couldn't do that myself. I'm ready to get off the plane around the 3-hour mark.
I've never flown the 345 myself - only the 342, 343 and 346. It is, by far, my favourite family to fly on (from amongst the ones I have flown).
You should still have tried harder to get on Jet... No one else threatens induces delight (sounds painful) _________________ four years free of jetya punti! |
