Thank you Balagopal, for yet another lovely trip report.
I have never been part of an inaugural, and your pictures and descriptions gave the reader a sense of being with you, all the while. The start with the history, and details of the ticketing, and check-in process...formed an excellent preamble to the rest of the goodies to come. Taj-SATS catering: the food looks very good. Your Hubli/Hubbali visit, and pictures of the airport reminded me of our Dec'11 trip to the same place. The Wife and Junior had enjoyed themselves at Hubli. Our main intent had been to visit Hampi, and the lovely other places of historical interest, close-by: Vatapi/Badami, Pattadakal and Aihole as well.

Intriguingly enough, we had stayed at Hotel Naveen on the banks of the impressive Lake Unkal itself. It is wonderful that you got a great set of crew both in the front office, as well as in the cabin. Thanks once again for sharing a lovely TR with us. I'll end with a request: please be more regular on the forum, especially in the Trip Reports section!
Cheers, Sumantra. |

Nice TR !
Enjoyed the pictures
Few questions
1. Why are the crew checking in ?
2. Any more gyan you got from the minister - he looks a wrong fit there after his initial comments . . he does not know what a C check is happened at this event or some other, I guess this !
# Glad you had #1 Very first pax for this airline. . Will they have manual boarding always ? I hope not !
# Good click - that SG Q400 there !
# The check in baggage tags remind me of DN tags - similar ones ! no expense on IT infrastructure
Lets see where OP is headed . . hope they sustain ! _________________ www.networkthoughts.com |

@JustBala...
Saw your comment that you tried OP again later in the week. Did they provide that snack box the next time as well? And about the boarding passes, where they printed atleast the next time? _________________ Regards,

Thank you for posting the wonderful trip report. I have never been on any inaugural flight, so lucky that you managed to be on one. The food looks quite good for a short flight, but like others commented it would have been good if the box would have been branded with Pegasus.
Good shot of the SG400 hope this plane is fixed and up in the air soon.
Good luck to Air Pegasus and hope they survive the intense competition. |

Thanks for the positive comments. My official flying has come down a lot recently - most of my flying is now on 9W - around BLR-PNQ/MAA/TRV - not very exciting journeys to TR about |

Once the systems are in place with necessary airport facilities (that's what I was told at TRV) , check in will be online. They will launch a web check in option too |

On the TRV-BLR sector they provided a cup cake and frooti. Water was provided in small paper cups.
The boarding pass was still manual. They were hoping to have it printed the week after. |

If I were to travel on the above sectors, it would be quite exotic for me. Second, we await (quite eagerly) a TR from you on the follow-up experience with Pegasus. Not just a gist of it, which came in the reply to Binai Sankar, but a full TR. Please...
Cheers, Sumantra. |

Oh wow - the first ever flight on a new airline!
What fun!
Air Pegasus looks pretty neat, but yeah I guess there are some things that still need to be ironed out.
The food looks amazing! (as expected from Taj SATS). Do they offer complimentary food now or is it a BoB service?
HBX looks nice! Unfortunate about the SG bird.....
Great TR, thanks so much for sharing!
PS - that smile is a bit creepy tbh, but oh well \_(ツ)_/¯
Regards
